Cast Out Devils
Up at the altar the man stood there shaking, his pupils had grown past
his whites, you could tell he wasn't faking. His voice pitched to the sound of
a shrill, then it went really low and gave some people chills.
The man came up fighting, he wanting to be free, he wanted to be rid
of that devil and forced himself to one knee. The minister came down from the
pulpit to confront this devil, to cast them out of the man, but he knew there
were several.
They began to speak and move around like a snake; he'd rise up and
fall down and started to quake. With great boldness and a voice of authority,
in Jesus Name he commanded those demons out and forced them to conformity. They
cried out in pain not wanting to leave, but they left him post haste giving the
man a reprieve.
Shaken and on his knees the man cried aloud, he cried out to God not
caring about the crowd. Asking the minister how to keep this from happening
again, he knew they'd be back if he wasn't forgiven of his sin. More than happy
to lead this man in prayer, to lead him to salvation, he received Jesus right
then and there.
So grateful he was not to be under the influence of evil, he declared
his conversion to all of the people. He shouted and danced and ran around that
tent, so very grateful that he had brought himself to come to this event. His
life was now changed for the better, he knew, the old man is finally dead, and
he's been made brand new.
