Heaven

I've finished my race, I've fought the fight, I'm leaving this world, and the view is outta sight. His Angels have come, and they greet me with a Shalom, a golden chariot awaits to carry me home. The beauty that awaited me is hard to describe, we've reached the pearly gates, I have finally arrived.

A party was gathered to meet me right there, my family, friends, and Jesus, only a taste of Heavens flair. I take my first step out of that chariot bold, celebrating with everyone while walking the streets of gold. I look to my left, I look to my right, I see several mansions but that is not what has caught my eye. Towering before me and straight on ahead I can see God's Throne, I can hear all that He said.

I fall to my knees right then and there as the sounds of praise and worship began to fill the air. Thankful for all He's said and done, I lift up my hands as He says, "I love you son." I love You Abba Father with all that I am, thankful that I am here because of Your spotless Lamb. The sound of praise coming from the four living creatures and the multitudes around has caused such a stir and it shakes the very ground. Lost in the wonder and the Glory once concealed, my eyes are wide open at what has been revealed.

The mansion He built for me He was proud to share, every heart’s desire and attention to detail He has crafted with care. Touring along the streets of gold, I see the river of life, from the throne, begin to unfold. The tree of life coming out of the ground, the smell of the leaves, where the nation’s healing has been found. Elated with joy walking with the Son, Jesus looks at me and says, "let's go have some fun."

The first place He takes me, knowing me well is some place to eat with such wonderful smells. He also knew that I wanted to learn how to fly, so we went to the school to give it a try. I gave it a try and only fell once; I wanted to impress Jesus and not look like a dunce. Thank You Jesus for the wonderful time and allowing me to write about Heaven in beautiful rhyme.

There is no way a poem can touch on all the aspects of Heaven, so get your life right and stay away from the leaven. Get your life right, you'll see it one day, salvation through Jesus, He is the only way.
