Spirit Filled Church
Going to her friends’ church not knowing what to expect, but the
denomination she came from had taught her the teachings of this church she must
reject. Walking through the doors she could tell something was different, not
what she'd come to expect, this was magnificent. She had never been to a
service where the Holy Spirit was allowed to freely move and the service hadn't
even started yet, she eagerly approved.
Her friend had invited her because of the terminal ailment she had,
she didn't want to see her friend going through life in pain and always so sad.
The service had started, and she looked around, the music was playing, and all
hands were aroused. A few people shouted and another guy ran, a few people got
out from their chairs and began to dance. The atmosphere was electric and heavy,
it took on a life of its own, she could feel the Holy Spirit moving all the way
down to the bone. What was this sensation she felt deep inside? The pain in her
body had begun to subside. Grabbing the microphone the Pastor rose up, and
announced to the crowd the exact ailment she had was gone, the crowd began to
erupt. But how could he know what she had been through? No one had told him, to
the church she was new. Falling to her knees she began to cry, tears of
happiness and shouts of joy in adoration for the Most High.
Inviting her up to testify of what all God had done; she announced the
victory through Christ Jesus she had clearly won. But the Holy Spirit wasn't
done that night, the Pastor invited her to receive the Baptism of Fire, she was
filled with delight. As the Pastor began to pray, she began to feel a sensation
in her belly, like fire in her bones, this was getting so heavy. As she praised
God for what she was receiving, different words began to form and flow out of
her mouth with praise interweaving. A Heavenly tongue was now flowing out of
her mouth, she felt so alive as the Spirit moved throughout.
Leaving the service, she knew she would never be the same, but she was
happy nonetheless and so very glad she came. She went back to the doctor who
diagnosed her illness, the tests were ran again and shock hit the doctor with
what he had witnessed. A complete recovery from what he had seen, a true
miracle of God as this was not for him routine.
She went back to the church she had originally come from, told the
Pastor the news and he looked at her like she was dumb. "This is not
taught here, and we won't allow it to stand, if you continue in this, you will
have to leave, do you understand?" She thought they'd be happy to hear of
her news, but she decided to leave that church without feeling the blues. She
went with her friend every chance she got, she was on fire for God and moving
in His Spirit, red hot.
