Hoist The Colors
I open my map to chart out the course, it’s time to get going, no time
for remorse. With the wind in my sails
and my hand on the helm, I make the determination to seek out and sail to the
Heavenly Realm. To bring out treasures for
the world to share, those nuggets of knowledge He would have me declare. The sun in my face, the open see air, the
wind blows calmly as it passes through my hair.
On the horizon a storm of adversity rolls in, no time to worry, no time
to be thin skinned. I could sail around
out of fear and be capsized, or I could take it head on till His strength is
fully realized. I humble myself and drop
the sails, I sail straight through the storm with all its destructive
hail. I navigate through the waves feeling
the tosses and turns, feeling sick at times reeling as the boat churns. The light pierces the clouds as I reach
storms end, my stomach is finally settled and I’m on the mend. I unfurl the sails and breathe a sigh of relief;
I’ve made it through the storm and further strengthened my belief. The seas are not easy to navigate so be well
prepared, you have the compass and map, use them and don’t be scared. For a life on the sea is not for the faint of
heart, but you have all the provisions you need and it’s time to depart. So be under way for this time has grown
short, hoist the Colors of our mighty King, you have His full support.
