Personal poem/psalm
Here I am
Father, I'm waiting on You, enlighten my understanding, and show me what to do.
I have continued the course and stumbled here and there, but I know You have a
plan for me, even if I'm unaware. A work of patience to wait so long, but
You've strengthened and sustained me through writing a new song. A Song of my
heart, the hearts cry of Your people, a church without walls, no need for a
steeple. Your Glory to cover the earth, leaving no stone unturned, the body has
so much to both learn and unlearn. We have heard You ROAR, and we roar with You
too, the enemy is driven back and doesn't know what to do. Panicked and fearful
he lashes out, trying desperately to maintain his narrative but he has lost all
of his clout. Thank You Father for turning him on his heels and perp walking
him back to the pit that will soon be sealed. Lord let the balm of Gilead cover
the masses, bind up the broken hearted, it might take several passes. And open
the eyes of those who still don't see, they have been bound up and lied to for
so long, it's time to be made free. I Thank You Father for the work You've
started in me, carry it on to completion as you fill my heart with glee.
